City-based women networking forum Biz Treez announced that it is organising a two-day ‘Rakhi Mela-cum-Sale’ on Saturday and Sunday, August 7-8 in Ahmedabad, the organisers said.
The exhibition and sale will be held from 10 am to 8:30 pm at Shrrmali Brahman Swarna Jayanthi Hall, near Unnathi School, Mahalxmi Char Rasta, Paldi.
Talking to the media, Krupal Thakkar, president of BizTreez, said, “During the COVID-induced lockdown Small and Mid-Cap business entrepreneurs, and especially women entrepreneurs, our members were hit hard. In order to help their economic revival, we are organising this two-day event to sell their products, – lifestyle, accessories, homecare, healthcare, décor, gems & jewellery, silver products, food, beauty care, cakes & chocolates, gruh udhyog products required for homes, Apart from that guidance of tour and travel, insurance, astrology predictions and customised gifts wil also be offered. True to our tag line of ‘Networking is Everything,’ will come handy for them.”
Founder of Biz Treez business networking group, Riddhi Raval said, “We have already generated over Rs 1.15 crore business in the last 6 months through internal referrals. To cash in on the festival season, we plan to generate business within our own circle and that too without any internal competition and also cater to the needs of homemakers. We have already launched 3 chapters – Aaramb, Aasman and Anant – each consisting of 90 members. Presently, we are a family of around 165 dedicated and passionate members who are willing to network, help each other to grow, serve the community and generate businesses to revive the economy.”
Thakkar added that this will be the first such exhibition by BizTreez. About 57 stalls have been booked so far. We are expecting a footfall of over 1,000 from our members apart from the general public. All visitors will be given a gift coupon and a lucky draw will be held on Sunday at 6 pm.
One of the core committee members and business consultant-cum-social activist Monika Shah said although Rs 3,600 is charged as rent for setting up stalls, for those who can’t afford it will be helped out by our members.
Other core committee members Hetal Shah, Rinku Shah, Nital Shah and Vrushank Mehta were also present at the media meet.
