City Union Bank (CUB), an oldest private sector lender, has embarked on a branch expansion programme during this fiscal and plans to open another 50 to 75 branches with self-service banking facility across different States, a senior official of the bank said on Sunday.
Tyag Vallabh Swamiji and Gungrahak Swamiji of Sant Shri Yogi Divine Society, Haridham in Sokhda will inaugurate the bank’s 783rd branch at 10 am on Monday, February 26. The new branch is located at No. 3 & 4, The Central, Near Hotel Bhagyoday, National Highway 8.A, Changodar -382213 in Ahmedabad District, Gujarat.
Pradip V Joisar (Joisar Parivar) of Vishal Engineering & Galv, Raj Steel Industries, DJ Toyota, Sujarjan will dedicate the self-service banking facility.
Bank’s Gujarat Region Regional Deputy Manager Bhawani Shankar Soni will also be present on this momentous occasion.
“We are planning to open another 50 to 75 branches across different States in India for the current financial year towards the year-end,” N Kamakodi, MD & CEO, City Union Bank said.

City Union Bank incorporated on 31st October 1904 one of the oldest private sector lenders having 120 years of existence.
The bank’s branch network is spread across 16 states, including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Maharashtra, and Gujarat, among others and three union territories.
