Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Thursday dedicated state-of-the-art fire safety facilities to minimize the loss of casualties in case of fire to 38 municipalities in Gandhinagar, an information department releases said.
The Chief Minister has dedicated 16 Ultra High-Pressure Mini fire Tenders, 22 pickups with foam trolley and 7 Rapid Response vehicles to 38 Municipalities from the fund of the Urban Development Department. For the first time, five Regional Fire Offices were opened in Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Gandhidham, and Gandhinagar, respectively.
Speaking on these fire safety initiatives, Vijaybhai Rupani said that with these vehicles, the state government was equipped with state-of-the-art fire safety facilities to minimize the loss of casualties in case of fire., the release added.
