PORBANDAR, SEPT 6
Cmde Paramjit Singh assumed the charge as Officer-in-Charge Naval Air Enclave Porbandar from Cmde Vishal Roy at a ceremonial parade held at Porbandar on Friday.
The Officer was commissioned into the Indian Navy on 01 Jan 1997. The Officer joined Naval Aviation in 1999 and is a Qualified Flying Instructor with a flying experience of more than 3,000 hours. He is an alumnus of National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, Pune, Defence Services Staff College, Wellington and Naval War College, Goa.
His afloat appointments include Executive Officer INS Tarkash & INS Kirch.

His supervisory appointments include QFI, Senior Pilot INAS 336 and Captain Air, INS Garuda.
His staff appointments include Director at IHQ MoD(N), Directorate of Air Warfare and Flight Safety (DAWFS), Senior Staff Officer at Headquarter Naval Aviation and Cmde Aviation at HQSNC.
