Additional Director General KR Suresh, PTM, TM, Coast Guard Commander, Western Seaboard along with Jayanthi Suresh {President, Coast Guard Wives Welfare Association (Western Seaboard)} arrived Gandhinagar for a three-day visit on Thursday to review Coast Guard Region (North West).
On arrival, the couple was received by Inspector General AK Harbola, TM Commander Coast Guard Region (North West) along with Kavita Harbola, President, Coast Guard Wives Welfare Association (North West Region). The Flag Officer is responsible for Indian Coast Guard charter in entire Western Seaboard from Gujarat to Kerala, including Lakshadweep & Minicoy Islands.

Thereafter, he visited forward formations at Mundra, Vadinar, Veraval and Pipavav. Overall operational preparedness and readiness of the Coast Guard Region (North West) towards mandated Coast Guard charter and progress of various infrastructure projects will be reviewed during the visit. The ADG along with Jayanthi Suresh {President, Coast Guard Wives Welfare Association (Western Seaboard)} will also interact with ICG Officers, personnel and families posted at these forward locations.
