The patrol team of Indian Coast Guard (ICG) has recovered 28 charas packets worth Rs 42 lakhs scattered on different places at Kadiyari beyt near Jakhau coast on Monday afternoon, a release said.
The packets weighing 1 kg each have been handed over to Marine Police for legal formalities.

“The Coast Guard patrol team recovered 28 ‘charas’ packets of 1 kg each amounting to Rs 42 lakhs near Jakhau coast on Monday. Packets handed over to Marine Police for legal formalities,” the ICG said.
To date, ICG in coordination with other government enforcement agencies has recovered more than 1,300 packets of charas from the coastline adjacent from Koteshwar to Mandvi since May 19, 2020, the release added.
