The Coast Guard Regional Headquarters (East) Inspector General AP Badola, PTM, TM, Commander feted 6 units with trophies and certificates here on Thursday.
“Each year Coast Guard units are presented recognition awards for their best efforts. On Thursday, an Annual award ceremony was conducted at the Coast Guard Regional Headquarters (East) at Chennai. Inspector General AP Badola, PTM, TM, Commander, Coast Guard Region (East), felicitated the ICG ships and establishments of the Eastern Region in recognition of their dedicated and sustained efforts in realm of Operations at sea and adopting eco-friendly practices,” says a release.
A total of six units were awarded with trophies and certificate for their distinguished and meritorious performance exhibited in the year 2022. The Commander also felicitated winners of Indian Coast Guard Essay & Photography competitions conducted pan Coast Guard and inter-service Adventures activities.
