Tamil Nadu’s fastest-growing GEC, Colors Tamil, has announced the world television premiere of ‘Sabhaapathy’, starring comedian Santhanam in entirely new avatar as hero on Sunday, January 9. Witness the most anticipated film of 2021 as part of the channel’s Sunday Cine Jumbo at 2 pm and 4 pm.
The lead actors Santhanam and Preeti Verma steal the hearts in this rib-tickling comedy, directed by debutant R Srinivasa Rao.
Versatile artists Pugazh, MS Bhaskar, Sayaji Shinde, and Vamsi Krishna have played well in supporting roles.

The story revolves around Sabhaapathy (Santhanam), a stuttering disorder sufferer who is tormented by everyone. Despite his greatest efforts, he fails at every stage in his attempt to change his life. Fate takes pity on him and decides to alter his life by placing him in amusing scenarios. It all starts with a crooked politician (Sayaji Shinde) and a large sum of money, which becomes the center of the issue.
Amidst all this mayhem Sabhaapathy falls in love with Savithri (Preeti Verma). With fate on his side, his love on the line, and a politician on his tail, Sabhaapathy’s ability to overcome the challenges shapes the rest of the story.

My character reflects the trials and tribulations of differently able people and how they make attempts to establish equality for themselves in this society. Colors Tamil has got the satellite rights to telecast its world premiere on Sunday. I believe that the film will get good response from my fans.”
