The 4th Gujarat Battalion of the National Cadets Corps, Gujarat, under the aegis of NCC Group Headquarters, VV Nagar is conducting a Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC), which began on Monday and will run until September 28 at Thamna village.

About 500 cadets from both the Army Senior Division and Junior Division are participating in the camp.
The aim of the camp is to introduce cadets to a ‘Regimented way of Life’ which helps them in developing Camaraderie, Team work, Leadership qualities, Self confidence, Self reliance and Dignity of labour.

During the camp maximum exposure to Range Drill, Firing and Specialised Training with emphasis on community living, discipline, character and confidence building and first aid training is being imparted to the NCC Cadets.
The cadets are exposed to the excitement of camp life where they apply the theoretical knowledge that they have gained in institutional training.
