City-based global leader in Revenue Lifecycle Management, on Wednesday announced the launch of Conga Revenue Lifecycle Cloud, a first-of-its-kind cloud platform that supports the complexities of revenue management, leading to improved efficiency and certainty for businesses to drive, configure, price, quote, contract, negotiate, manage, collect, and renew revenue. Upgrading its core technology from applications to a full, open cloud solution strengthens Conga’s position in the market and with its partners and advances capabilities for customers to accelerate the transformation of their revenue lifecycles.
“Revenue is the fuel that powers companies. Conga realizes this opportunity and the need to help businesses reinvent how they connect with customers to drive effective revenue operations success. The application of AI and machine learning to the Conga Revenue Lifecycle Cloud delivers an intelligent system to allow for more predictability. Conga removes manual processes with automation to improve efficiency, predictability, and accuracy for revenue activities,” said Noel Goggin, Chief Executive Officer and Culture Leader at Conga.
“We are meeting our customers where they are and reimagining the end-to-end customer experience across the entire revenue lifecycle with these latest innovations. The introduction of Conga Revenue Lifecycle Cloud is further proof that Conga adopts a customer-first approach to create personalized customer journeys that attract, excite, and transform our customers’ businesses.”
“We are very fortunate to have 44 per cent of our colleagues here in India. It is a big part of our business here today. We do a full product life cycle here in India today, from product definition to design, development, quality, installation to support — the entirety of the lifecycle is here in India today,” Noel Goggin added.
Global revenue life-cycle management solutions provider Conga on November 1 said 60 per cent of its hiring this year has been in India, which accounts for nearly 80 per cent of the company’s product development and engineering capacity
He said that 80 per cent of Conga’s product development and engineering capacity is in India, where it started its journey from Ahmedabad nearly 11 years ago and has offices in three other cities of Pune, Chennai and Bengaluru. “We started in Ahmedabad 11 years ago, and we came to Ahmedabad before other software companies. We are probably one of the first software companies here in Ahmedabad,” Goggin said.
Allaying the fears of layoffs owing to the adoptation of AI and ML, Goggin said that the company’s cloud platform will help deploy the manpower judiciously and hence there would be no job loss to the staffers of its customers
Chief People Officer of the software company Dayna Perry said that out of its 1,800 full time employees globally, nearly 44 per cent, or 800, are in India and majority of them are based in Ahmedabad. “This year, 60 per cent of our hiring has been in India, and we are likely to see that it continues in that trajectory and perhaps, very likely it increases,” she said, attributing its focus on India for its workforce to the calibre of the talent as well as cost effectiveness.
Conga General Manager for India Ashish Shah said, “The cloud platform offers customers more choice to incorporate Conga wherever they want – whether through the Conga user experience (UX), commercial applications (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow, etc.), or even their own UX using Conga’s APIs. Various departments across an organization can also benefit from Conga Revenue Lifecycle Cloud. For instance, HR teams that don’t use sales force can now use Conga to generate documents – like offer letters, benefit statements, and more – anywhere with data that comes from any system of record. Sales reps can also use Conga to accelerate deal cycles by automating sales activities – including proposals and quotes – at every step from request to renewal, increasing sales productivity and improving the user buying experience.”
Ashish Shah added that the company has been offering internship facility to nearly 150 students from Nirma, IIT Gandhinagar, GTU every year and most of the appointments were based on referral basis.
