AHMEDABAD, FEB 25
Gujarat recorded 245 new coronavirus infections and five deaths in the last 24 hours, the state health department said on Friday evening.
The caseload of the state rose to 12,22,119, while death toll reached 10,924.
As many as 644 persons recovered from infection during the day, taking the tally of recoveries to 12,08,657.
The number of active cases in Gujarat now stands at 2,538. Of these, only 33 patients are on ventilator.

As many as 10.28 crore doses of anti-coronavirus vaccines have been administered in the state so far, including 1.03 lakh on Friday.
No new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the adjoining Union Territory of Dadra Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu. Of the total 11,408 persons found positive for coronavirus in the union territory so far, one is active patient, four died while 11,403 recovered.
