Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy held a review meeting here on Tuesday with the officials of the Health Department on COVID-19 across the State.
He gave instructions to the officials to reconduct the door-to-door survey across the State covering all households, by village volunteers and complete it by Thursday.
“Firstly the survey was conducted to trace only foreign returnees, but now in the latest survey, all households will be covered and check their health conditions.
Based on the survey outcome, better precautionary measures will be taken and implemented for the effective control of Coronavirus. The public are requested to follow the lockdown and remain indoors for safety concerns.” the Chief Minister said.
In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Chief Minister instructed the officials to conduct a transparent survey and update the details on a daily basis. If anyone is found with symptoms, immediate treatment has to be provided.
The Chief Minister appealed to the public to stay in their respective homes and cooperate with the officials by taking part in the survey. So far, all those cases registered in the State are of foreign returnees and their close relatives. In order to avoid further advancement, the public has to follow government instructions and take the
lockdown seriously.

All the YSRCP MP’s wish to rally behind our Prime Minister and AP Chief Minister and will contribute one month’s salary to the PM Relief Fund, set up to contain COVID-19 @narendramodi @loksabhaspeaker.
While lauding the efforts of our Chief Minister and AP state government and our health personnel all the YSRCP MP’s will contribute another one month’s salary to CM’s Relief fund to be utilised in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic @ysjagan according to V. Vijaysai Reddy, YSRCPP Leader and P.V. Mithun Reddy, Floor Leader, Loksabha.
