PIPAVAV, APRIL 15
In the wake of COVID-19 outbreak and lockdown, APM Terminals Pipavav’s mobile vet clinic has been offering telephonic as well as on the spot services related to the health of live stocks, a port release said here on Wednesday.
“The mobile vet team is reaching out to the remotest villages like Thavi and Shiyalbet for emergency services. Recently, the vet team received a call from Saramanbhai of Shiyalbet seeking help for the critical condition of a cow suffering from Uterine Prolapse. The team rushed to Shiyalbet and was at the aid of the cow. Sarmanbhai informed that the cow would have succumbed had the team not attended to it immediately,” the statement added.
The mobile vet clinic has been able to provide emergency medical support to around 5 to 6 cases daily spread over more than 30 villages. At APM Terminals Pipavav we strongly believe in supporting our community in such difficult times.
