Ashok Leyland, flagship company of Hinduja Group has recorded “Zero’’ domestic as well as export sales during the month of April 2020.
During the same period last year, the company had sold 7517 numbers of Trucks, 1401 buses and 4223 Light Commercial Vehicles in the domestic market.
The cumulative figure including domestic and exports during April 2019 was 7645 trucks, 1701 trucks and 4280 LCVs, a release from the company said.
Due to COVID-19 lockdown, the company has stopped production of buses, trucks and LCVs instead, concentrating on its CSR activities including production of COVID-19 ventilators and Gensets for hospitals etc, the release added.
