Gujarat reported 18 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, pushing its cumulative tally to 8,26,308, while no fresh death due to the infection was reported in the state, the health department said.
Also, 32 patients were discharged from hospitals during the day, which took the number of recovered cases to 8,16,029, it said.
The state now has 193 active cases, of which four patients are on ventilator support.
There was no new COVID-19 fatality on Monday and hence the toll remained unchanged at 10,086, said the department in a release.
For more than a week now, the state has not reported any new coronavirus-linked death.
Among districts, Surat reported the highest number of seven new infections, followed by Valsad four, Navsari three and Ahmedabad, Gir Somnath, Junagadh and Vadodara one case each, the release said.
On Monday, 3.61 lakh people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in Gujarat, taking the number of doses administered so far to 6.71 crore, it said.
The tally of COVID-19 cases and recoveries in the neighbouring Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu remained unchanged at 10,648 and 10,640, respectively, as there were no new additions on Monday, officials said.
There are four active cases in the UT which has reported as many deaths so far, they said.
