Gujarat reported 69 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, taking the tally to 8,23,964, while the toll increased by one to touch 10,072, an official said.

He said 208 people were discharged during the day, taking the recovery count to 8,11,699, leaving the state with 2,193 active cases, including 11 in critical condition.
Ahmedabad accounted for the lone death, while it also led with 11 cases, followed by nine in Surat, eight in Rajkot among other districts, the official said.
A release said 2,73,25,191 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the state so far, including 2,17,786 on Tuesday.
In neighboring Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, the COVID-19 tally rose to 10,547 with six new cases, while the recovery count increased by two to reach 10,504. The active cases in the Union Territory, which has seen four deaths so far, is 39.
