COVID-19 lockdown: Ford India extends service, warranty period till June 30

The company said that the extension is valid for the customers whose warranty was scheduled to expire between March 15 and May 30, 2020.

AHMEDABAD, APRIL 14

Ford India on Tuesday announced extension on extended warranty and service period for all Ford cars until June 30, 2020, a company release said.
The company informed in a press release that the extension is valid for the customers whose warranty was scheduled to expire between March 15 and May 30, 2020.

Commenting on this initiative, Vinay Raina, executive director Marketing, Sales & Service at Ford India.said,  “Health and safety of our workforce, customers & communities is our highest priority. From knowledge to resources, we are deploying everything in our means to help fight this pandemic.”

The move comes with a slew of measures to support the customers and communities during these challenging times.
As per Ford, customers who have booked or plan to book a new Ford car until April 30 will get complete price protection at the time of delivery.
The company has also been providing free of cost 24X7 roadside assistance to all Ford owners, including those who haven’t subscribed to RSA services.
Ford has also set up a team at its manufacturing plant(s) to produce face shields to be distributed to frontline workers namely doctors, paramedics, sanitary workers & emergency staff, the company statement added.
