Reinforcing its aggressive expansion strategy in southern India, Croma, the Tata Group’s omni-channel electronics retail chain, has launched a new store at Arcot Road, Porur, taking its Chennai network to 28 outlets and its Tamil Nadu footprint to 41 stores. The latest addition underscores Croma’s growing confidence in Chennai’s booming consumer electronics market and its strategy of bringing seamless online-to-offline shopping experiences closer to customers.

Spread across 7,153 sq. ft. at The Elitez, Arcot Road, Porur, the new outlet offers an extensive portfolio of consumer electronics, including smartphones, laptops, home appliances, televisions, wearable devices and smart home products. Customers can experience products firsthand while receiving expert guidance to make informed purchasing decisions.
To mark the launch, Croma has introduced exclusive promotional offers valid until July 15, including a flat 12% discount on electronics and benefits worth up to ₹22,999 on smartphone purchases, making the new outlet an attractive destination for technology shoppers.
Speaking on the expansion, Mayank Sangani, Chief Business Officer – Stores, Infiniti Retail Ltd, said the new outlet reflects the company’s commitment to making technology more accessible while delivering a superior omni-channel shopping experience.

The store will operate daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., offering shoppers access to Croma’s integrated retail ecosystem, combining physical store experiences with digital convenience.
Industry observers note that Chennai continues to be a key growth market for organised electronics retail, driven by rising disposable incomes, rapid digital adoption and increasing demand for premium consumer technology products.
