The countdown for the start of the season 13 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has begun, with players slowly lining up with their franchises for the preparation of the two-month long cricketing extravaganza.
Some famous names who aren’t in the international cricketing spectrum anymore, including India’s MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina, have got fans excited over their return to Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

On Wednesday, the Chennai franchise shared a video of Raina’s reunion with CSK teammates at Chepauk and fans failed to hide their excitement seeing the southpaw prepare himself for cricketing action after a lengthy injury layoff.
“One down, and Chepauk echoes this man’s name. Belovedly #ChinnaThala, the man is synonymous with IPL. #StartTheWhistles as he returns to the game we all love!”, CSK wrote in one of the tweets.
