The public sector lender Indian Bank on Tuesday announced that it has sponsored 190 Stretchers and 50 Wheelchairs to Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS), Patna, Bihar under its CSR initiative.

On behalf of the Bank, SL Jain, MD & CEO handed over the equipments to Dr Prof Bindey Kumar, Director, IGIMS. In his address, Shri Jain emphasized on the nation’s growing healthcare infrastructure needs and Indian Bank’s commitment to contribute towards it in the best possible ways. From providing stretchers and wheelchairs to ambulances and health ATMs, the bank has extended support across the nation in centres like Bengaluru, Gandhinagar, Lucknow and others.
Board Members, including EDs, Imran Amin Siddiqui, Ashwani Kumar and Mahesh Kumar Bajaj graced the occasion in the presence of General Managers from Corporate Office and Field General Manager Office, Patna along with team members of IGIMS, Patna.
