Over 120-year-old City Union Bank (CUB) on Saturday announced it continued to maintain the best technology providers in the banking industry by bagging seven awards in the recently concluded ‘20th annual Technology Conference, Expo, & Citations 2024’ held at Mumbai on Thursday.
“CUB is getting awards in all the seven categories from IBA for the second year in row. The IBA awards are aimed at rewarding Best Technology Providers in the Banking Industry, encouraging competition in the Banking Industry to demonstrate their state-of-the-art innovative products, sense of purpose and bringing huge value addition in Best Practices for serving clientele,” said a senior-most official of the private sector lender.

Speaking on the occasion, Vijay Anandh said, ”We are thrilled to receive awards in all the 7 categories from IBA year after year. These awards are given by IBA in recognition of our Technology adoption. We are continuously launching new IT enabled products for the usage by our customers. We launched 8 new Digital products for our customers in the Global Fintech Fest 2024 held in August 2024. We will continue to innovate new IT solutions for the benefit of our customers and work in unison to get awards from IBA in all categories in the coming years also”.
City Union Bank was adjudged winner in four categories Best Digital sales, Payments & Engagement; Best IT risk management; Best Fintech & Digital Payment Index (DPI) adoption and Best Financial Inclusion.
CUB has been awarded Runner-up in Best AI & ML Adoption category.
CUB has also been conferred with two Special Awards for Best Technology Talent & Organisation and Best Technology Bank.
