Curfew was imposed in Guwahati following days of protests in Assam over the amended citizenship law.
The administration in Dibrugarh also relaxed curfew in the district from 6 am to 8 pm, reports news agencies.
It was decided at the CM’s review meeting to lift curfew completely in Guwahati from 6 am on Tuesday. The meeting also decided to resume operation of broadband internet services in entire state Tuesday morning, said a statement from the office of the Chief Minister.
