The Combat Vehicles Research and Development Establishment (CVRDE), DRDO, Avadi, celebrated the 75th Constitution Day of India with great enthusiasm and reverence by organizing special lectures here on Tuesday. The event was organized to mark the adoption of the Constitution of India and reinforce its importance among citizens.
“The highlight of the celebration was a special lecture delivered by the Chief Guest, Dr. B. Damodaran, Senior Advocate, Madras High Court. In his address, Dr. Damodaran emphasized the significance of Constitutional Values, Rights, and Duties that serve as guiding principles for every Indian,” said a statement.
Rajesh Kumar, Outstanding Scientist & Director, CVRDE, graced the occasion and addressed the gathering. He expressed his pride in the Constitution, describing it as a cornerstone of India’s democracy, and presented a memento to Dr. Damodaran as a gesture of gratitude for his insightful contribution.
Dr. V. Balamurugan, Outstanding Scientist & Associate Director, along with senior scientists, officers, and staff members, actively participated in the event, making it a resounding success.
The celebration reaffirmed CVRDE’s commitment to upholding the values enshrined in the Constitution and spreading awareness about the responsibilities of citizens in nation-building.
