As part of its social welfare initiatives, including helathcare, CybageAsha conducts blood donation drives amongst Cybagians every six months. In one of its latest drives, the philanthropic arm contributed 490 pints of blood to save lives of patients.
The donations will be used to treat Thalassemia patients who will receive blood transfusion free of cost.
Stepping up its healthcare activities, CybageAsha, the CSR arm of Cybage Software recently conducted a visit to a Thalassemia centre run by the Indian Red Cross Society in Paldi, Ahmedabad. CybageAsha visited the patients adopted by the centre to devote time and create some light moments around them.
Expressing her thoughts on this effort, Ritu Nathani, Director –Cybage Software and Managing Trustee – CybageAsha said, “It is a privilege to be able to join hands with NGOs like the Indian Red Cross Society. CybageAsha relentlessly attempts to support people who do not receive opportunities easily, and this drives us to lend an arm to patients for whom healthcare is not easily accessible.”
