Daulatbhai Trivedi Law College, part of the Navgujarat Campus, celebrated Hindi Day on Saturday. The celebration aimed to highlight the importance of the Hindi language.
The program began with a welcome address by staff members and students, who emphasized the cultural and historical significance of Hindi. A special event was organized to honor and promote the importance of the Hindi language in legal education and practice. Reference was made to Article 343 of the Constitution of India, which recognizes Hindi as the official language. The program also highlighted the role of Hindi in law, justice, and governance, encouraging students to use Hindi as much as possible in drafting, arguments, and court proceedings.
Through topics such as “Use of Hindi in Legal System,” “Hindi and the Indian Constitution,” and “Hindi as the Language of Justice,” the event explained how Hindi contributes to better access to justice, especially for rural and non-English-speaking citizens.
