Konark cycling expedition team comprising 20 members which was flagged off from Jodhpur on Tuesday, March 3 reached Jaisalmer on Thursday, March 5 (third day) covering a distance of 120 km from Pokhran, a Defence release said.
The team interacted with Veterans and Veer Naris of Jaisalmer district in the presence of General Officer Commanding Battle Axe Division. The cycling team members also visited Amy Public School Jaisalmer and interacted with the students. They delivered a motivational talk to the students.
The cycling team will cover a distance of 1,750 km and will travel Jodhpur-Pokhran-Jaisalmer-Suigam-Bhuj-Santhalpur-Abu Road-Jodhpur over a períod of 10 days. During the expedition, they will interact with Veterans, Veer Naris and students at various places.
