Headquarters Dakshin Bharat Area (DBA) of Indian Army celebrated Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the 75th Independence Day in Chennai on Sunday.

To mark this occasion, Major General Prakash Chandra, Chief of Staff (COS), Headquarters – DB Area laid wreath at War Victory Memorial in the city and paid homage to the fallen heroes of the nation.
DB Area has its Headquarters in Chennai, which is under Southern Command of the Indian Army.
Earlier on August 10, 2021 ‘Army Brass Band’ was organised at the historical Fort Saint George, Chennai.
Various tunes of patriotic fervour was played by the Band team of Officers’ Training Academy (OTA), says a release from Defence PRO.
