Defence Secretary Dr Ajay Kumar, IAS, visited the Indian Coast Guard Regional Headquarters (North West) at Gandhinagar on Monday. He was welcomed by Inspector General AK Harbola, TM, Regional Commander (North West).

The Defence Secretary reviewed the operational preparedness of the Region and infrastructural development. He was also briefed about various efforts of ICG towards humanitarian assistance and joint operations with stakeholders in maritime safety and security.
