Delhi Public School-Bopal celebrated a joyful Children’s Day on Thursday, 14 November 2024, creating a cheerful and inclusive environment for students. The day blended learning with entertainment, embodying the spirit of childhood and paying homage to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s legacy.
The students were all in for a surprise as they entered the Academic Courtyard. Their joy knew no bounds on seeing their teachers all dressed up and the stage set for an extravaganza. The assembly began with a prayer followed by the news bulletin and thought for the day.
The event began with a warm welcome, a prayer, news highlights, and an inspiring thought, creating a reflective and enthusiastic start to the day. Principal Sabina Sawhney then delivered a heartfelt address, emphasizing the significance of Children’s Day and the unique contributions of each student. She encouraged them to embrace forgiveness and resilience, highlighting that challenges can be overcome through hard work.
The festivities continued with an array of engaging performances by teachers, including a humorous skit, a lively musical act, and a spirited fashion show, all met with cheers and applause from the students. A captivating solo dance and a high-energy group hip-hop performance added excitement, showcasing the creativity and dedication of the teachers towards their students.
