AHMEDABAD, SEPT 6
Stating that majority of the designated COVID care hospitals take undue advantage of pandemic disease’s fear and fleece patients by producing inflated bills, a leading healthcare provider exhorted the patients and their kins not to fall prey to them.
Speaking to the media, Surendar.C. Chhajed, Founder & Chairman, Turning-Point Healthcare Pvt. Ltd, which runs Hridhya Se hospitals in the State on Saturday said, “The Government of Gujarat’s health department has fixed charges for COVID treatment which includes medicines, tests, X-Ray, doctors’ visits, etc. It’s unethical to fleece the patients and their kins with inflated bills. The affected persons can make complaints either in person or mail with the zonal health officials in civic bodies and get their grievance redressed.”
When asked about the holistic treatment offered at his hospital, Surendar said, “Hridhya Se Hospital has come up with a new approach to treatment in which the stress levels of patients are reduced through yoga, Garba, Puja, meditation, worship, music therapy through live music by an in-house band. The hospital strives to build a bond with the patients with trust as the base. A patient’s wellbeing is the greatest gift that we wish and motivates us more to serve more with the best of the services we have. “
Awareness programmes
Hridhya Se Hospital aims in educating people that how important it is to monitor one’s health by taking regular health checkups twice a year. To inculcate a healthy practice, we have planned to launch an awareness programme, including free health check-up to 2,000 families across the State, Surendar added.
Expansion plans
On expansion plans, Surendar said, “In an exercise to serve all sections of the society, we are aiming to set up a chain of multispeciality hospitals and clinics across the nation. We will cover Vadodara and Rajkot during this financial year and later on expand to other States.”
