Dhanuka Agritech Limited, a leading agrochemical company, in a strategic collaboration with Nissan Chemical Corporation, Japan on Monday introduced a high-tech herbicide ‘Purge’ in the state of Gujarat.
Purge is highly effective in controlling both narrow and broad leaf weeds and may play a pivotal role in enhancing crop yield, thus, benefitting farmers a great deal. Soybeans and peanuts are two crops that can particularly benefit from the use of Purge.
The company also launched insecticide ‘LaNevo’ and bio-fertilizer MYCORe Super in the state.
Applying Purge herbicide empowers farmers to manage a range of troublesome weeds. This new product effectively controls both Narrow Leaf Weeds (NLWs), including Digitaria sanguinalis, Echinochloa crusgalli, Eleusine indica, and Dactyloctenium Aegyptium, as well as Broad Leaf Weeds (BLWs) such as Acalypha indica, Digera arvensis, Boerhavia diffusa, and Parthenium hysterophorus.
The introduction of Purge, LaNevo and MYCORe Super has further bolstered Dhanuka’s overall product offering, including its insecticide portfolio.
Present on the occasion of the launch of ‘Purge’, M K Dhanuka, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director, Dhanuka Agritech Ltd reiterated the company’s commitment towards innovation and harped upon company’s continued focus on quality products.

‘LaNevo’ has been launched for the first time in India and is poised for a global launch. LaNevo offers dual benefits with a unique mode of action for enhanced crop protection against sucking and chewing pests. It is designed to minimize resistance development and, promote healthier crops and higher yields.

Introduced under Section 9(3) of The Insecticides Act, 1968, the broad-spectrum insecticide ‘LaNevo’ effectively controls a wide range of pests, like Jassid, Thrips, Whiteflies, and Leaf Miners. By targeting both sucking and chewing pests, LaNevo offers farmers better control over crop damage.
