To mitigate the hardships of citizens caused by the lockdown, a control room and helpline to facilitate the supply of essential items such as milk, fruits and vegetables has been made functional in Gandhinagar, a senior government official said. A helpline has been also been set up where people can call and seek information about the availability of essential commodities.
Secretary to the chief minister, Ashwini Kumar, said, “The control room will be operational 24×7 and people can seek assistance about availing of essential commodities by dialing 1070 and 079-23251900.”
