Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar passed away at the age of 92 due to a multi-organ failure in Mumbai on Sunday morning, February 6. Mangeshkar will be cremated at Shivaji Park with full state honours..

Condoling the passing away of Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar, Pujya Morari Bapu said, “I pay tribute to Lata Didi from my Vyaspeeth and on behalf of all the listeners who listened to Ramkatha in 170 countries. Bapu said that Lata Didi’s voice reminds me of Vaikunth. I use the word Vaikunth with understanding because the music of Vaikunth is sattva-oriented. Her music will remain with us.”
