Morari Bapu, a renowned Ram Katha exponent and spiritual leader. is known for respecting all religions as equals. He also used to take part in many events highlighting the religious harmony and tolerance.
Despite this, a 5-year-old video of Morari Bapu had been doctored and circulated on a social media with an ulterior motive to bring him disrespect and tarnish his reputation leaving his followers angry.
- Morari Bapu has devoted his life to promoting brotherhood between different communities, and his remarks on that occasion were also a part of his efforts to bring the two communities closer.
The alleged video clips being posted on social media platforms date back to the year 2018 when speaking at a mass marriage ceremony of the Muslim community, Morari Bapu had assured that he would have no issues if any Muslims come to the Ram temple and offer namaz. In the same breath, he had also said that he would expect brothers from the Muslim community not to have any issues if he comes to the mosque with bells.
Morari Bapu has devoted his life to promoting brotherhood between different communities, and his remarks on that occasion were also a part of his efforts to bring the two communities closer.
To nail the lies, the whole video has been released by Morari Bapu’s followers and it makes it very clear that only the partial video clip is being circulated on social media in an attempt to mislead the common public. Morari Bapu’s followers are naturally angry with the attempts to malign his image deliberately.
Speaking upon his arrival in Indore on Thursday, Morari Bapu said, “My remarks are being edited with the purpose of creating controversies. If you listen to the whole video, I have said nothing controversial or objectionable.”
Until now, only politicians would used to tamper with one another’s videos and circulate them on social media and other platforms in an attempt to tarnish the other’s image. But, why would someone doctor the video of a saint like Morari Bapu who has dedicated his life to Ram Bhakti, and what are the intentions behind it, ask his followers.
