Aiming to inculcate a scientific temper among the students, DPS East Ahmedabad recently arranged a visit to Science City here, exploring the Aquatic Gallery and Robotics Gallery.
Aquatic Gallery
The Gujarat Council of Science City, established by the Government of Gujarat, has developed the Aquatic Gallery to realize this vision. This 5th generation facility, part of the sprawling 200 acres Ahmedabad Science city, is India’s largest and first planned public inland aquarium, catering to the vision of edutainment. Attracting more than 1 million people annually, the Gallery is designed to bridge the gap between formal science education and the community at large.
Robotics Gallery
The three-storied robotic gallery houses 79 types of robots. Spread over 11,000 square metres, the gallery has, at the entrance, a humanoid robot that interacts with the people. The robotic gallery also features history of the robots and showcases how robots are being used by DRDO and other agencies.
Edutainment
The excursion offered a captivating learning experience, showcasing marine biodiversity and cutting-edge robotics technology. This visit inspired curiosity, creativity, and a deeper understanding of science and innovation.
