Padma Shri Recipient Dr. Sunita Narain, Director-General, Centre for Science and Environment, New Delhi, will address a Webinar hosted by IIT Madras on Republic Day (26th January 2021). Dr. Sunita Narain will deliver an address on the topic of ‘Gandhi and Cities: Challenges of Affordable and Sustainable Growth’, says a release.
Dr. Sunita Narain has also served as a member of the Prime Minister’s Council on Climate Change. Recently, she has been appointed as a member of One Health Global Leaders Group on Anti-microbial Resistance which reports to the Secretary-General of the United Nations.

Prof. Sudhir Chella Rajan, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences and Indo-German Centre for Sustainability, IIT Madras, will moderate the webinar.
