The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), through the Recruitment and Assessment Centre (RAC), Lucknow, has invited online applications from qualified and interested candidates for filling 167 Scientist ‘B’ posts in various engineering disciplines comprising Electronics & Comm. Engg, Mechanical Egg, Computer Science & Engg, Electrical Engg, Material Science & Engg/Metallurgical Engg, Chemical Engg, Aeronautical Engg, Civil Engg, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Psychology through direct recruitment. The online application process towards the same starts from May 14, 2020 and closes on July 10, 2020.

Age Criteria And Fees
Candidates interested in applying for Scientist ‘B’ posts through DRDO Recruitment 2020 must not have exceeded 28 years of age (UR), 31 years (OBC-NLC) and 33 years (SC/ST) respectively as on July 10, 2020 as specified in the advertisement.
Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 100 (Gen/OBC/EWS) as application processing fee through online mode. SC/ST/PWD and Women candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
Educational Criteria And Eligibility
Desirous candidates applying for Scientist ‘B’ posts through DRDO Recruitment 2020 must possess a B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in relevant engineering discipline; Master’s Degree in relevant discipline from a NCVT/SCVT recognised University/Institute as specified in the advertisement.
Candidates must also have qualified GATE/NET in the concerned paper/discipline.
Selection And Pay Scale
The selection of candidates for Scientist ‘B’ posts through DRDO Recruitment 2020 will be done through a Descriptive Examination/GATE/NET score and Interview.
Candidates selected for Scientist ‘B’ posts through DRDO Recruitment 2020 will be paid an emolument of Rs. 80,000 per month.
