NE EDUCATION BUREAU
AHMEDABAD, OCT 8
A brilliant mind should never have to put a dream on hold because the family cannot afford the next semester’s fees. For thousands of young Indians, the real hurdle to higher education is often not ability, ambition or academic potential—but the cost of turning that potential into a qualification.
That is where timely information can make a life-changing difference.
Continuing its Scholarship Alert initiative in association with Buddy4Study, Navjeevan Express brings together eight scholarship and fellowship opportunities aimed at helping deserving students pursue higher education across STEM, medicine, engineering, management, research and undergraduate programmes.
The opportunities featured this month range from tuition support at IIT Bombay and full course-fee assistance with accommodation and meals to scholarships of up to ₹10 lakh a year and a fellowship offering up to ₹42,000 a month.
For students and parents, the message is simple: check the eligibility, mark the deadline and apply before the opportunity passes.

A deadline can be the difference between knowing and doing
The eight opportunities cover remarkably different academic journeys—from an aspiring IIT engineer or doctor to a woman entering STEM, a young student seeking undergraduate support, an engineering student from a financially disadvantaged family or a researcher pursuing a Ph.D.
But scholarships do not automatically reach the students who need them most. Awareness has to meet action.
Students should therefore read the eligibility conditions carefully, keep the required academic and income documents ready, verify the application requirements and submit their applications well before the deadline.
A scholarship may begin as a financial concession on paper. For the right student, however, it can become something much larger: the freedom to choose a course, stay in college, pursue a profession and build a future that might otherwise have remained out of reach.
