In the dream world of cinema content is the king. Debutant director SR Rajan has made an abortive attempt to handle an amalgamation of comedy, action, sentiment and suspense-thriller, ‘Email’, with the sole trust of deploying versatile actor Ragini Dwivedi to bare the pitfalls of online gaming scams.
Abhi (Ragini ) is leading a perfectly normal life until she starts playing an online game that turns out to be a scam. The situation worsens, and Abhi has no option but to go to great lengths to protect herself and her friends, and her partner. When pushed to the wall, Abhi and her gang of girls muster courage to take on the mafia.
Actress Aarthi Sri, who is popular in Bengali and Hindi film industry, is playing the second heroine character in this movie.
Ashok Kumar Balakrishnan played as the protagonist and Billy Murali as the antagonist.
Late actor Manobala, and Lollu Sabha Manohar have played supporting characters.
While Avinash Gavaskar has composed music, ‘Drauapadi’ fame Jubin had done background score.
DOP Selvam Madhappan, handled cinematography and Rajesh Kumar of ‘Velai Illa Pattadhaari’ and ‘Naan Mahaan Alla’ looked after the editing works.
Debutant Producer-Director SR Rajan says. “Driven by the passion to make good content-driven movies I made forays in this dream industry as a producer-cum-director.”
The film is a must see for all as it sends an awareness message to the society at a large on the ill-effects of digital traps.
