Eastern Naval Command (ENC), Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief (FOC-in-C), Vice Admiral Rajesh Pendharkar met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at his camp office in Tadepalli on Tuesday.

Rajesh Pendharkar recently assumed charge as ENC Chief. He explained to the Chief Minister about the various initiatives undertaken by the Indian Navy to overcome the challenges arising in relation to maritime security in the Eastern Seaboard.
Rajesh Pendharkar informed YS Jagan that Visakhapatnam would host the Milan 2024, a multilateral naval exercise, under the auspices of Eastern Naval Command (ENC) in February 2024. Dignitaries and navies from 57 countries were expected to participate in Milan 2024. The duo also discussed various administration issues during their meeting.

The Vice Admiral presented a replica of the ship INS Visakhapatnam to the Chief Minister.
ENC officers Captain VSC Rao, Captain Rohit Kattoju, Commander YK Kishore and Lieutenant Sai Krishna were among those present.
