In a candid interview with navjeevanexpress.com, Boarding Pass For Success Founder and motivational speaker Khushboo Vaidya shares her experience.
When asked why did she give up her lucrative career, Khushboo Vaidya said, “While working as an engineer in Canada for three years, I came across this life-changing question, ‘Do you want to continue doing, what you are doing currently, for the rest of your life?’ Right then, I got an answer and realized that I should find my true purpose and passion, so started exploring, self-reflecting, and writing journals. Eventually, I figured that to contribute positively to society helping students by catching them young.”.
Elaborating on her turning point in life, she said, “I started out by using my life experiences and learnings into creating content to convey meaningful messages to people and motivate them to act. This gave me the idea of starting ‘Boarding Pass for Success’ website and use it as a platform. Since then, I have also been working as a career success strategist, conducting inspiring seminars in schools and colleges and collaborating with other professionals to guide students.”
Her qualification and experience
Khushboo Vaidya has a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Waterloo in Canada and was with companies like Blackberry and Brock Solutions in Canada as well. She even has experience of teaching Digital Signal Processing subject as a Teaching Assistant in SVNIT, Surat.
Germination of ‘Boarding Pass For Success’
Following her passion for the field of education, learning, and inspiring people, especially students, led her to start a new venture ‘Boarding Pass For Success’ in April 2018. Her mission is to help students gain clarity and get the right STEM career guidance from the right people working in the STEM field, inspire students towards innovation and unique learning strategies, and create motivating videos. She collaborates with researchers and engineers around the world with a profile of MIT, Stanford, Google, Amazon, IIT, many more. She believes that irrespective of the past grades or results, every student has the potential to do wonders if given the right direction and approach. She even won the Best Speaker Award for her speech at Toastmasters International, USA.
Holding seminars is her forte
She has conducted seminars and webinars for 3500+ students in schools and engineering colleges like SVNIT, PDPU, IITRAM and many more in Gujarat and Mumbai on topics like ‘Inspiring Engineering Innovation’, ‘Robotics Applications and Research Around the World’, ‘Mind Hacks for Success’, ‘Abroad Studies during COVID-19’ ‘How to utilize time at home during COVID-19’ and many more.
