The Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER) transformed its campus into a vibrant hub of innovation and competition as it hosted ETHOZ’26 – FUTURIX, a national-level inter-college management fest that drew more than 1,000 students from nearly 60 colleges across the country.

Organised by the Faculty of Management Sciences, the event provided a dynamic platform for budding managers to test their strategic thinking, leadership capabilities, creativity and problem-solving skills through a wide range of competitions and interactive sessions.

Industry Voices Motivate Future Leaders
The fest was inaugurated in the presence of noted entrepreneur C. K. Kumaravel, Co-Founder and CMD of Naturals Salon & Spa, and media professional Jayaram S., Deputy General Manager (South & East) of Business Standard, who graced the occasion as Chief Guests.
Encouraging students to think beyond textbooks, Kumaravel emphasised the importance of entrepreneurial thinking.
“Management education must go beyond theory. Platforms like ETHOZ empower students to experiment with ideas, build leadership qualities and prepare themselves for real-world challenges,” said C. K. Kumaravel.
Jayaram S. highlighted the importance of adaptability in the evolving business landscape.
“Today’s managers must combine analytical ability with creativity and ethical leadership. Events like this nurture exactly those qualities among young professionals,” he noted.
Academic Leadership Applauds Student Initiative
The dignitaries were welcomed by Samyuktha Venkataachalam, Trustee of the Sri Ramachandra Educational and Health Trust, who praised the enthusiastic participation of students.
“Such national-level platforms not only foster healthy competition but also help students build confidence, teamwork and professional networking,” said Samyuktha Venkataachalam.
Dr. Mahesh Vakamudi, Pro-Vice Chancellor of SRIHER, emphasised the institution’s focus on holistic education.
“At SRIHER, we believe that management education should blend academic excellence with experiential learning. ETHOZ reflects that vision by bringing students together to learn, innovate and lead,” he said.
Dr. Selvam Jesiah, Principal of the Faculty of Management Sciences, highlighted the objective behind the fest.
“ETHOZ is designed to expose students to real-world business scenarios. The competitions simulate corporate decision-making environments and sharpen managerial instincts,” he said.
Champions of ETHOZ’26
After intense rounds of competitions, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram campus, emerged as the Overall Champion, while Guru Nanak College secured the Runner-Up position.
