The ‘Satyaram Scholarship’ was instituted at IITGN by the former Indian cricketer and philanthropist VVS Laxman in the year 2016 and is being facilitated through the NGO Yuva Unstoppable. It is awarded to the needy and deserving students of IITGN, and they continue to get scholarship support till the completion of their BTech programme at the Institute.
