AHMEDABAD, MAY 26
With over 90 percent of the businesses in India and the world over are family-led or family-managed, a closer look at the Indian conglomerates like Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Group, Gautam Adani-led Adani Group, Zydus Lifesciences, Sun Pharma in Gujarat and Bajaj, Birla, TVS Group and the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises or the MSMEs will throw light that in order to thrive and flourish, they all have to learn, unlearn, reboot, rethink, reform, and rewind, said industry-academia experts at a workshop held here on Sunday.

Ahmedabad witnessed a high-impact confluence of innovation, strategy, and legacy leadership as RapiGrow Business Consultants and Masters’ Union successfully concluded their exclusive business growth workshop, tailored for entrepreneurs, startup founders, and family-run enterprises. Curated for just 50 select participants from over 150 applicants, the workshop delivered deep strategic value, blending strategic tools, business model innovation, investor access, and future-ready leadership insights.
The workshop, jointly organized by RapiGrow Business Consultant, a premier venture-building platform and Masters’ Union, a leading institution in innovative business education, designed to help entrepreneurs and business leaders navigate growth challenges and unlock new opportunities. The event helped participants rethink their traditional business models and move towards modern, scalable ones. The sessions covered important topics like using digital tools, planning for business succession, launching products or services, and getting ready for fundraising for both legacy businesses and new-age ventures. Many attendees were from second and third-generation family businesses looking to bring more flexibility and fresh ideas into their growth plans.

Talking about this workshop, Harshal Banker, Founder of RapiGrow Business Consultants noted, “At RapiGrow Business Consultants, we go beyond theory. We blend deep market insight with actionable plans, helping founders transform ideas into scalable ventures. This workshop was a reflection of that mission, offering entrepreneurs hands-on mentoring, market access, and funding readiness. Whether it was a family-run firm exploring new revenue streams or a young founder giving a final touch to his/her go-to-market plan, the energy in the room was focused on building scalable, sustainable ventures. We’re proud to have helped unlock that potential.”
“We have transformed over 500 family-led companies, including MSMEs, with our consultancy service over a period of nine years. Incidentally, out of the 500 companies, 270 are from Gujarat and the reset outside the State. Women comprise 20 percent of our clientele. We have collaborated with Masters’ Union, a new-age business school, as a knowledge-sharing initiative. Our strategy is to cover 10,000 MSMEs over a period of time.”

Echoing the similar views, Pratham Mittal, Founder of Masters’ Union, said, “At Masters’ Union, we believe that even the most successful businesses must constantly evolve to stay relevant. This workshop was about more than just sharing frameworks. It was about bridging generational strengths with future-ready strategies. We were thrilled to see Ahmedabad’s business leaders engage so deeply with innovation, governance, and growth planning. It’s clear that Ahmedabad is ready to lead the next wave of entrepreneurial transformation. We are working in tandem with the government so that MSMEs make the most of it.”
A key highlight was the success of a local family textile business that, with RapiGrow Business Consultant’s guidance, switched to selling directly to customers online, achieving 3x growth in its revenue and starting global exports in just six months. The post-event feedback was overwhelmingly positive with several attendees showed interest in further mentorship and investor connections with both the organizations.
The workshop by RapiGrow Business Consultants and Masters’ Union combined smart planning with practical steps, setting a new standard for business growth in Ahmedabad. It helped traditional family businesses and promising startups succeed in a fast-changing market.
