Furniture major Featherlite Office Systems (P) Ltd is scouting for land to set up its fourth manufacturing unit in Gujarat, said a top official of the company here on Friday.
Speaking with navjeevanexpress.com on company’s Gujarat plans, Featherlite Furniture Managing Director Manohar Gopal said, “We have three manufacturing units in Bengaluru, Karnataka and Chennai in Tamil Nadu. Now, we are scouting for land in Gujarat to set up our fourth plant to cater to the growing demand. Gujarat is one of the largest market for us. The market size of office furniture in India is Rs 3,000 crore. Our offline sale is more than the online sale.”
