Aiming to convert the concrete jungle, Ahmedabad, into a city of greeneries and help the citizens to get much-needed fresh air, three city-based NGOs planted over 200 trees on Monday, the organizers said.

FICCI Flo Ahmedabad Chapter, Chairperson Nandita Munshaw and the Friends of Environment Committee under the able guidance of Lokendra Balasaria of TREEWALKS, planted more than 200 different medicinal and fruit-bearing trees at the Astha Foundation, the release added.
