As part of this initiative, a daylong fundraising exhibition was organized by the chapter on Saturday at Beyond Gallery, a brick and mortar designer clothing gallery in Ahmedabad, with the intention of drawing the right attention of fashionistas to sell Aastha Foundation products. This effort of creating designs, collaborated with the Aastha Foundation, and connecting with customers translated the essence of FLO in its true sense. This event has not only encouraged the women but also helped them to flourish, the statement added.
The beautiful tie-n-dye garments captivated the visitors at the Exhibition. The technical support to the designer garments for the Exhibition was given by FICCI FLO Ahmedabad chapter members Rajmati Binaykia and Geeta Gandhi, who have a background in designing. They have incorporated tie-n-dye in the garments and gave them trendy look. For the last two months, about 10-15 women of the Aastha Foundation have been working relentlessly to make the designer garments.
