FICCI FLO – Ahmedabad Chapter on Wednesday announced that its start-up cell has signed an important MoU with Gandhinagar-based Incubation, Startup & Women Entrepreneurship Cell of Swarrnim Startup & Innovation University on Wednesday, a release said.
Under this MoU, they will come together to exchange cooperation in areas of mentoring, placements, internships, office and factory visits, boot camps in women-led sectors, showcasing start-ups to FLO HNIs and FLO Angels, onboarding ‘FLO Certified’ Mentors to the ‘Mentor Pool’ of Incubation and Mentoring Cell of the University. The period of this MoU will be for a period of 3 years.
Earlier, FLO Ahmedabad had signed 3 MoUs with GUSEC, AIC GUSEC, and L J Knowledge Foundation Antrapreneur, respectively. This is the 4th MoU signed by FICCI FLO Ahmedabad Chapter, the statement added.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairperson of FLO Ahmedabad Chapter Nandita Munshaw, said, “This is the beginning of a long-term association. We share a common vision to uplift women-led start-ups and that makes this MoU a special one.”
Commenting on this, Phani Trivedi, Head of the FLO Startup Cell, said, “The ready infrastructure for grooming ‘womenpreneurs’, linkages for expert and knowledge exchange nationally, using each other’s platform to showcase FLO members and Swarnim Startups to the Industry and Government bodies will make this MoU fruitful”.
Yogita Sethi, Head, FLO Startup Cell added, “The MoU is a step ahead for value addition and greater good of Women-led Startups.”
Dr. Kartik Jain, Provost, Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University said, “We, at Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University, feel privileged to sign an MOU with FICCI FLO Ahmedabad Chapter. Our objectives will be to support and develop women-led start-ups in the nation and thus to create ample opportunities of employment. We shall also associate for upcoming National Investors’ Meet, CEO Meet, Mentors to Mentee events for boosting Start-up Eco System”.
