Ajay Devgn is currently busy gearing up for his upcoming action thriller ‘Bholaa’ which is all set to hit the theatres on Thursday, March 30. Mass Maharaja Ajay plyas titular role and also directed it. The actor-director visited Ahmedabad NY Cinemas to interact with his fans and media.
The actor-director talked about the way Bollywood makes action films has changed. He said, “I think the action has gotten a lot easier over the years because of the kind of technology we have and the kind of safety precautions we take now. After three months of rehearsals under the guidance of Indian and international experts, the stunts scenes were shot in 11 days. But when we started it was very very difficult, we practically injured every bone in our body, every muscle in our body.”
To a query on acting in Gujarati films, Ajay Devgn replies, ”If I get good story and opportunity, certainly I will act in Gujarati films. Gujarat has given me a lot of love and continued to do so.”
The film follows an ex-convict who plans to meet his daughter for the first time after being released from prison but ends up in a shootout between the police and drug peddlers.
Ajay Devgn’s definition changing action sequences, deep emotion connects and the thrilling storyline has got audiences eagerly waiting to watch ‘Bholaa.’ Although action scenes are not Tabu’s forte, Ajay got the best out of Tabu as tough cop with nail-biting fights.
After getting a tremendous response for IMAX 3D and 4DX ticket bookings, the makers have opened the advance bookings.
