Fipola, the leading fresh meat and seafood brand has launched the first-of-its-kind shop, Fipola on Wheels, in Chennai on Wednesday.
Fipola has 18 stores across Chennai and is planning for state-wide expansion in the near future, said Dr Sanjoy Kumar Das, Chief Operating Officer.
Addressing the reporters, Das said, “Fipola is sourcing seafood from six ports across India through its parent company SR Marines and will offer the customers the freshly catched fishes within 10 to 12 hours of harvesting from sea.”
The lambs and goats are being sourced from Jaipur in Rajasthan.
The Fipola on Wheels, which has been doing rounds in remote spaces, communities, associations and large building complexes which may not have quick access to its existing retail stores. Three such vehicles are on commission to reach as many localities and it has been a roaring success so far!
Fipola on Wheels has currently three fresh meat food trucks that aim at keeping hygiene, quality assurance and variety to all its customers, from Poultry, Lamb, Seafood and marinated items. These vehicles are the future of an incredibly promising year ahead for the company.
Over the last year Fipola has been doing phenomenally well with an expansion of the team, a 280 manpower strength which is projected to go to 480 within six months. In spite of lockdown, Fipola maintains uninterrupted fresh and hygienic meat and seafood to its customers, thus its revenues have also spiked up by three hundred per cent, Dr Das said.
The company is planning to open 22 new outlets all over Tamil Nadu in the next six months which will take it overall presence to 40 stores, with the motto that they will be serving as many customers as they can to the best of their ability.
With new age concepts like the first of its kind mobile fresh meat and seafood store and the introduction of Fipola Grillhouse, a space where you can grill your marinated meats and seafood fresh BBQ style and take them home or eaten in house; the company is really pushing the boundaries in every direction.

Fipolo has tie-up with food delivery apps besides its own delivery app that will reach out to its customers within 2 hours of receiving the order, said K. Elangovan, General Manager – Operations.
